Every May they have a Hot Air Balloon Stampede.
Fort Walla Walla is now a museum. It was originally named Fort Nez Perce. It was a Hudson Bay Company fur trading post. That fort is now under water. There is a second Fort Walla Walla. It was established in 1856.
The major tourist attraction is the Whitman Mission.
