JAM THUMBPRINTS
2/3 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
2 eggs yolks
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
1½ cups flour
2 egg whites, beaten
1 cup chopped nuts
jam for filling
Cream butter & sugar; add
egg yolks, vanilla, salt, flour. Shape into balls, dip in egg whites and roll
in nuts. Press down center on greased pan.
BAKE: 350 degrees, 15-17
minutes
Cool slightly and fill with
jam.
YIELD: 3 dozen
